Avantages
Apart from Remote work, nothing is good here.
Inconvénients
My experience with BrowserStack has been nothing short of disappointing. The recruitment process was chaotic and unprofessional, leading me to seriously question the company's standards. Despite multiple rounds of interviews, there was a lack of transparency and efficiency, which made the entire experience feel like a waste of time. If you're going through their interview process, you might want to reconsider proceeding further. The Business HR team operates in ways that seem to contradict the company's policies, particularly regarding salary withholding. This raises serious concerns about how the organization values its employees and their hard-earned wages. I was also shocked by the casual attitude towards marijuana consumption discussion on the premises, which is not only unprofessional but also a serious violation of workplace norms. It reflects poorly on the company culture and sends the wrong message about their stance on professionalism. Management is another area where BrowserStack falls short. I’ve seen people in high-level positions changed jobs within six months, yet they have no hesitation in judging employees who wish to leave after a year or more. This double standard is both unfair and demotivating. Their "Launchpad" joining bonus program is a trap. Employees are tied to a three-year commitment, and any decision to leave earlier triggers a clawback of the bonus. This practice feels restrictive and doesn't encourage a positive working relationship. Many people in senior positions left the company in 1 year. Finally, work-life balance is non-existent. The pressure and expectations are overwhelming, leaving little room for personal time or rest. Overall, I would not recommend BrowserStack to anyone looking for a healthy, fair, and professional work environment. There are far better options out there. They are also facing IP Infringement case.
