They micromanage, they put you on action plans when you don’t need them but come up with a reason, they require you to come onsite because they know it’s miserable to only work on 1 project at a time from home, the same people (tenured) go on trips every single year while the young grinders stay back and barely pay bills due to the very low salaries/comp plan (because again, the owner throws sick parties and overpaid on a HQ building), the company will hire 15+ per class and lose half the group within 2 months, favorites are picked whether you like it or not, your Manager is probably teams’ing bad things about you, your friends will get fired and walked out the same morning (however they’ve never laid a single person off in 24 years.)
