The chance for career advancement can be limited due to the low-skill application in the role. The independent nature of remote work doesn't allow for easy networking opportunities. The supervisor did not read/consider the feedback given during annual reviews. The questions asked during annual reviews are about job satisfaction (what you like/dislike, how they can support you). Directly asking for potential career advancement opportunities was never responded to.
