Avantages
Rapid growth and a lot of excitement about the future. Strong innovation engine, well funded and casting a wide net across multiple mechanisms of action in oncology. Strong rank and file employees with a lot of experience, smart and generally helpful.
Inconvénients
Your experience will largely depend on your group. Initially work life balance was brutal as we were trying to do too much with too few people. The have substantially staffed up and localized much of the activities which creates less need for working around the clock although being a global company you will get some of that. Senior management not the strongest although they are bringing in more industry veterans. Cross cultural communication can be a challenge. All in all things are moving from not that great with brutal hours and unappreciated staff to more reasonable work schedules and a movement towards creating a stronger culture where people want to stay longer (retention was a big problem but getting better). My own personal experience has been largely positive and feel like it is meeting my growth and learning aspirations.
