Avantages

There are some talented individuals within the organisation who are (fortunately) comfortable enough, or too close to retirement, not to be looking elsewhere. There are ample opportunities to improve your communication skills as you a) foolishly attempt to engage other departments in a common goal b) explain product deficiencies to irate customers c) justify why Aspect is so expensive. If you like meeting people then try a job in sales - there are always new people to talk to as they come in to replace the last person who has "gone to explore explore opportunities elsewhere".

Inconvénients

Company preaches 'unlocked communication' yet in reality this means if you communicate anything senior management don't like your exit door will be unlocked. All the folks at the top have zero interest in what you have to say and if it's not what they think then you're obviously wrong. If you want to work for a company that rewards effort and performance, encourages team work and banishes silos, communicates with it's employees, and is generally a great place to work.... then look elsewhere. Aspect is none of these and hasn't been for years
