Avantages
We work remotely. My team is pretty decent. Working on new technologies, advancing the company and myself. They are trying to get people in the jobs that best fit them. Stable/steady company. CEO is great. My job has good enough work/life balance, and remote work helps keep it tha way.
Inconvénients
Pay doesn't seem as competitive as it should be for Chicagoland area. No bonuses. Pretty basic benefits for corporate job. Hard to stay knowing I could be paid more and the new people will get hired at same or higher salary to longer employees. Knowing you're paid less is deflating, even though the company is otherwise pretty good. Makes me feel like a fool for staying so long.
