The work life balance is great especially for women. The paid time off is 4 weeks, pretty good by industry standards. Add to it the flex days, sick days and multiple fun events during the year, and it's a pretty decent life you get. You will find good natured people throughout company and you may not see as much back biting. A few years in American Express can add much to your resume. And the opportunities to work in diverse fields and internationally add much to the value.
Inconvénients
The brand relies too much on the loyal customer base it has held for some time. The value proposition of an American Express Card for youth is debatable, especially charge cards. The more recent exposure to credit cards may cause some problems.
