Avantages

They give you a paycheck and have extremely low expectations.

Inconvénients

Far below market compensation. Management is super disconnected from the level of service they actually provide. Everything is flavor of the month, and they can't make up their mind what they are going to do. Very thick good ole boys club management team, but they don't have a clue how to run a sales organization.

Avantages

- Great exposure to lack of direction. You’ll develop excellent coping skills navigating ambiguity and unclear priorities — a real crash course in patience. - Leadership is approachable. You’ll get plenty of face time with managers who are eager to “pick your brain” instead of leading. - Low compensation builds character and humility. This helps you develop creative ways to stretch a paycheck.

Inconvénients

- Compensation is well below market standards. You’ll likely be doing the work of multiple roles — for the pay of one. - Leadership is disconnected and directionless. Lots of talk, very little execution. Strategies change frequently, and no one seems to know what the company actually wants to be. - Feedback is welcomed and ignored. Suggestions are often met with polite smiles, then promptly disregarded or not executed upon. Initiative is great, but no one acknowledges it anyways.
