Avantages

I had the opportunity to work and learn from someone who was very knowledgeable about Arbapro. The knowledge I gained was very instrumental in obtaining a new position when I left this company.

Inconvénients

The new ownership has ruined and tarnished what was once a good and respectable company. I have never experienced such a terrible work environment prior to this company. The owners expect workers to put in unreasonable hours with no extra pay or leave. This means no comp time, no early departure, absolutely nothing but more work. Support is always understaffed and the clients are always angry. This company also expects you to travel to clients for installs, but refuse to reimburse your travel expenses in a reasonable time to pay your credit card bill. You are constantly told that you can't be reimbursed until the clients pay their balances. The problem with that is, the clients refuse to pay for buggy software. Instead of resolving the software issues, the owners decided that they would request 100% of the contract when the equipment is shipped. That's right, they want clients to pay the full contract before they realize the product is poor quality. The majority owner blames everyone for failed installs, but the people who are to blame. He is the main person to blame because he does the imagining of the systems and the second to blame are the developers for the buggy software. The company even hired a third party vendor to complete the installs and the same problems existed. Not only did the same problems exist, the vendor was often late and didn't show at all on occasion.

Contingency plans are put in motion when unexpected situations arise, ensuring that installations are completed as promised and to our customers' satisfaction. We value our customers, and continue to grow as new customers select and deploy our system in their Foodservice and Retail environments. ARBA has a much lower employee turnover/attrition rate than the industry average. We maintain strong relationships with our former employees, who have on occasion been involved in supporting issues with our legacy system as we continue to migrate customers to our new system. We encourage our employees to work as a collaborative team, and seek the help of co-workers and the management team when assignments or tasks are taking longer than estimated. We reimburse travel expenses in a timely manner for actual expenses incurred, according to IRS guidelines. Unauthorized expenses are not reimbursed by the company, or by our clients.

Avantages

Managers are very helpful and communicate very well. Goals are set very clearly and tracked regularly. All staff members seem happy and like their job. Comes with flexibility.

It was a nightmare dont do it

bad news working there, high expections working from 8a to 11p at night and too high expectations unrealistic
