Avantages
Time goes by really fast and you get a good work out. Compensation/ benefits package are good if you can keep to the minimum salaried hours
Inconvénients
Work/ life balance....your entire life is Aldi when you become a store manager. When you get a new store the hours you put in are ridiculous, especially if you have an unethical incompetent district manager leading you in the wrong direction. On average I probably worked 60 hours a week, some weeks I put in over 70 just to keep up. My stress never seemed to end. Not enough sleep and when I did get a day off I was worried about my store. It was hard to find employees that wanted to give 100%, most wanted to be lazy and cut corners. Our warehouse would always run out of key items that were in the ad or seasonal leaving us to deal with constant barrages from unhappy customers. The allowed hours given per day were just enough but that meant I would work 11hours with no break and would have to literally run and work out of my mind every minute of my day.
