Where do I start? When you join the team at ACGI everything looks great. The staff looks happy, the owners seem nice and supportive and the technology looks advanced. Then you work there for a few weeks and realize ITS ALL A FACADE. Even as a positive person it’s hard to stay happy here. All they care about is billable billable billable. It doesn’t matter how much value you bring in other ways , if you are not billable enough, you are done. Some teams are only allowed 5 hours a week of non billable time (mind you it can take almost all of that time just to INPUT the time with the backdated system we have) The two owners are two stuck in the 80s to realize that their business model cannot last like this. And while they think we should be GRATEFUL for having a job with them, they don’t make it worth anyone’s while. They encourage backstabbing and manipulative behavior and some of the management team does as well. What makes it okay for a senior level manager to encourage his team members to snitch on each other?? The technology is still stuck in the 90s at best. Up until a few months ago when a millennial (Who since left) joined the company and got them to switch to slack they have been using AIM to communicate in house. BSOD are common and their product still has miles to go before it reaches this century.
