Teams compete over the same pool of potential opportunity, which puts Managers at odds with one-another, leading to a culture of self-interest and a lack of collaboration. The company has struggled to adapt to its substantial growth, with targets and KPIs increasing regardless of the economic downturn. Many managers who were promoted based on their performance in easier times are unable to adapt to a more challenging selling environment and reject fresh ideas and different opinions.
