Avantages

Low stress. Somewhat autonomous roles. Ability to work from home. Due to poor hires over the years, it is very easy to look good. It is a large name known throughout the world.

Inconvénients

Cheap. 1% (or less) salary raises in a market that bears an average of 4.1%, in a country that averages over 3%, in 2013. And those raises are usually delayed for 6-8 months, so it is not an annual raise. Ineptly run. Majority of hires are inexperienced and low skilled developers (cheapness wins again). Zero training. Bonuses for employees were eliminated in 2012. An old boys club. Very behind the times. In Calgary, the most booming city in Canada, the business continues to decline and they continue to lay people off. Lots of politics and people "protecting" themselves at the expense of others. Maximum 4 weeks holidays. No August long weekend. No personal time off.
