No such thing as work life balance - Avis employé Software Engineer Capgemini Engineering

Strict no work-life balance. Minimum 12 hour a day and 6 days a week one is expected to work. Seniors get new reasons to call people on weekends every time. Promotion is based on how many weekends one work. Management may even explicitly threaten to give low performance review if we don't come to work on weekends. Management demand to know our personal reason for leaves informed weeks prior, and try to reason why coming to office is more important than attending to personal needs. Policies are not transparent. HR don't seem to have any power. Concerns raised by employees are not heard.
