Avantages
The pay used to be somewhat competitive compared to other local companies, but even that has shifted — management now frames it as something you have to constantly “earn,” rather than the salary you were initially promised.
Inconvénients
Working at Tonik is the very definition of a toxic environment. Executives are extremely ego-driven and refuse to listen to anyone outside their circle, openly saying that higher-ups know better and that if you don’t want to “devote your life” to the company, you don’t belong. Employees are literally clocked for bathroom breaks, with scooters even being considered to make those breaks faster. Ownership of decisions never exists at the top — blame is always pushed down to the people executing, while credit is taken by executives. Gaslighting is rampant, and hierarchy is carefully protected to never appear in a bad light. If you value a healthy workplace where your voice is heard and your contributions respected, look elsewhere.
