I rarely regret professional decisions, but joining thinkproject did not meet my expectations.
After working in large organizations, I intentionally chose thinkproject with the expectation of joining a more agile and market-driven company. In practice, I found an organization struggling with structure, alignment, and clarity of direction.
One recurring challenge was the lack of a clearly articulated commercial strategy. At a senior management level, such as Regional Vice President, clearer strategic guidance and priorities would have been expected. Instead, strategic direction often remained difficult to understand or translate into concrete objectives.
This lack of clarity had a direct impact on day-to-day work, leading to inefficiencies and limited sense of value creation. Opportunities for learning, growth, and meaningful contribution were more limited than anticipated.
With hindsight, I feel that my time could have been used more effectively in an organization with stronger leadership alignment and a clearer strategic vision.
I would not recommend this company to professionals who value transparency, strategic clarity, and well-defined leadership.
