Toxic culture, empty promises and endless cycles

Avantages

Some employees are aware of the company’s limits and toxic culture, providing pockets of transparency

Inconvénients

No accountability at any level; management routinely ignores responsibility. Integrity is lacking; promises made during recruiting or internally are rarely kept. During recruiting, you go through more than 7 cycles of interviews and information requests, essentially doing hours of work for free instead of hiring a consultant. Career progression and growth are fake, with meetings that are purely performative. Massive turnover; teams constantly shrink or dissolve. Company appears shady and possibly not profitable; decisions often feel arbitrary. Work environment is toxic, with poor communication and empty promises at every level. Overall, it’s hard to understand why competent professionals stay here, given the culture and lack of follow-through.

Avantages

Sygnum has a general good company culture in general, however people are not so close. Working hours are very correct.

Inconvénients

The salary is lower than other private banks, internal mobility is not enough promoted they prefer to take outside people rather than to give the chance to a fellow sygnumer. Lack of communication regarding the IPO. The company culture is also a bit boring, not a lot of event.
