-Manque de transparence dès le recrutement : informations peu fidèles à la réalité (notamment sur la taille des équipes et les conditions de travail) - RH commissionnés sur le volume de recrutements (volonté de convaincre quitte à mentir) -Recrutement massif avec un turnover très élevé (ex : équipe passant de 8 à 2 personnes en moins de 2 mois) -Équipes surdimensionnées sur certaines zones pour anticiper les départs -Forte pression sur les performances avec des moyens limités pour réussir (secteur petit et vite saturé) -Management peu structuré : manque d’accompagnement, de suivi et de feedback -Abandon rapide des profils jugés non performants (après seulement un mois) -Ruptures de période d’essai fréquentes, sans réel échange préalable (en cachant la présence de la rh au rdv) -Promesses non tenues (ex : suppression rapide de certains avantages annoncés) -Moyens de travail insuffisants pour un poste terrain (ex : absence de véhicule) -Outils internes limités (ex: CRM peu développé) -Stratégie très orientée volume, avec un objectif d’avoir seulement des profils free-lances à terme

What can be imho the root cause of all the harsh but fair comments you will find in Glassdoor is : 1 Very incompetent top management (they were probably very competent at the beginning but they do not know how to scale) 2 So they hire and promote very incompetent but very "ass lickers" middle management, instead of competent people that will challenge their decisions. So if you like to lick asses, if you like alcohol, I mean Berlin and Paris offices are really cool. Enjoy. If you think that it is normal to have a technical roadmap to build a POS, to deal with tech debt and quality at tribe level, that this is not normal that customers know better the POS than Engineering Managers, if you do not like people who bullshit Google slides that everyone will forgot the day after and who never go to knowledge sharing sessions, but always go to parties take a pic with the tribe leader, if you are like this, just find another company for the moment. You know what I mean. They buy licences for tools they do not have the maturity to use, just to brag and put it on the CV. Etc, etc... You can still find some competent people (leaving little by little afaik), but also too much that miss hard skills and prefer politics than learning, unfortunately :( Also ... Sumup strongly supported Ukrainian families victims of the war, this is great ! But a person employed by Sumup who wanted to post a slack message to support a Palestinian family victim of the war has been censored by someone from the top management and the person has resigned because of this incident.
