Avantages

I had a very valuable experience at Integra LifeSciences, especially from a technical perspective. I worked in a demanding environment with high standards, which allowed me to develop strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. I was also part of a supportive and collaborative team, which made the day-to-day work both efficient and enjoyable. This experience gave me a solid foundation in handling complex equipment and working in regulated environments, and it reinforced my ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.

Inconvénients

The profit-sharing scheme was relatively low, and there were limited additional benefits.

Avantages

- I had the privilege to work with absolutely brilliant and lovely people in my team, lower management / N+1 included (some of them were also fired though). - Interesting projects.

Inconvénients

- Fired on the spot : not performance related, no mistake, just "economic restructuring" with a whole department deleted including people working there for 10 - 15+ years, Wasn't even allowed to say goodbye to colleagues. - Upper management sees people as disposable, they make you relocate from half the globe away and then throw you out when they feel like it, leaving you without any social security, without any unemployment benefit, with people financially depending on you. - Upper management and some departments make some very questionable decisions that results in huge financial losses, which add up and leads to bad financial situation for the company, ultimately ending in people being fired. - Very unstable situation, people in the office never knew when it would be their turn to be fired. You could also notice that people were missing and nobody knew they had been fired. - Communications problem between some departments between US and Europe, people not understanding the implication of scaling up a manufacturing process from laboratory experiments, leading to bad decision making. Repeatedly. - Always corporate talk and no transparency.
