The domain of the company - customs software solution is challenging and therefore very interesting. The initial idea of the company to facilitate trade is very ambitious and inspiring. The international environment and salary packages are advantageous.
Inconvénients
There is no company culture and people matters come last, the revenue comes first at any cost. The workload is insane and not balanced, many colleagues have just recently joined and have no knowledge or experience. The training programs do not help new joiners and there is no proper follow-up or control over what they have learned or not. Therefore, 70% of employees do have not much work to do and the other 30% are having a burnout. In this company, you won't be able to learn about customs but will have to deal with complex matters without the appropriate level of expertise. You are basically left on your own. An unstable environment is very disruptive in this company. People are rapidly onboarded and after a few months, their contracts are terminated just in one day. The company is massively laying off employees. There is no possibility to grow within the company. Your end-year reviews are just a formality, most managers do not care about their teams' personnel, and performance at any cost comes first. Nobody will care about your career goals or development programs. There is a huge issue within the management - the investors took over the company and the founders are now suing them to return their company. This issue influences the working environment. There is no anonymous hotline or any other possibility to lodge a complaint about the employees' behaviour. One of the most senior employees sexually harasses young female employees and those fearing of losing their job have to remain silent. There is also an employee close to the management who has been disclosing confidential information.
