My experience as a Junior Auditor at Crowe Paris was both demanding and rewarding. I worked across a diverse portfolio—SMEs, holdings, and associations—participating in every key phase of the audit cycle: risk assessment, internal control walkthroughs and testing, substantive procedures, and closing tasks. I carried out inventory counts, analytical reviews, and detailed testing of significant cycles (revenue, purchases, payroll, fixed assets), documenting my work to professional standards in CaseWare and Excel.
Beyond the technical work, I learned how to manage tight deadlines, communicate clearly with clients, and collaborate efficiently within engagement teams. The firm’s high expectations and supportive coaching accelerated my learning curve and gave me meaningful client exposure early on. I leave with a stronger grasp of French auditing standards (NEP), a rigorous approach to evidence, and a practical mindset focused on materiality, consistency, and efficiency.
