Consultants are treated as cash cows. CRI has a poor company culture and human resources is a joke.
Avantages
CRI has only 1 or 2 direct contracts with EU institutions but is mainly a subcontractor of bigger companies having the final contract with the customer.
Inconvénients
They take a bigger margin then the competition. Most of the time more than 15% and you must fight very hard to get them under 10%. All this margin for a poor administrative service, a tough contract, few answers, a poor follow up and no career path. This means you are alone at customer premises without any support in case and nobody to protect you in case of problem. Also no hope to be move on another assignment if you are not happy with the mission. Being mainly subcontractor means CRI cannot offer competitive prices as they take their margin. It’s better to negotiate directly with the company in front or ask the customer what the other companies (cascade) are on the EU framework Contract. This way, you can get a better offer and often a better collaboration.
