Structured data is highly organized and typically stored in relational databases or tables, making it easily readable and interpretable. Examples include SQL databases and spreadsheets. In contrast, unstructured data lacks a predefined structure and can be more challenging to process. It includes free-form text, images, audio, and video. While structured data is well-suited for systematic analysis and integration with other systems, unstructured data often requires advanced techniques like Natural Language Processing or image and sound analysis for meaningful interpretation. The distinction between structured and unstructured data lies in their formats, readability, and the ease of data processing.
