What do you know about iNodes?

I was unsure, and admitted I had not even heard the term.  I did joke that it sounded like an Apple product of some kind.  They seemed to enjoy the humor, and admitted they did not expect me to know the true answer.

It's essential to demonstrate that you can really go deep... there are plenty of followup questions and (sometimes tangential) angles to explore.
