- Founded in 1946 by two brothers: Karl and Theo Albrecht. - In 1960 the business split into two groups: ALDI Nord (North) and ALDI Süd (South) - Over 11,000 locations world wide, with over 500 in Australia. - ALDI (Australia) is partnered with Barnados Australia - a child protection charity. (also asked how they helped the charity, i had no idea)
