I had the same exact experience almost word-for-word. She acted the same. I bet it was the same unprofessional Recruiter. She only cared about telling me how smart she was and smarter than me. I am considering talking to her executive team and having it added to her HR file.

I was in the midst of explaining that I go on to our platforms first before using Google and other strings but she didn't even let me finish my sentence before hanging up on me. Here's a big tip for companies like yourself who only want passive candidates. First of all, it's ridiculous to not start with your own candidate pool. In this case, she didn't even know I had applied. That's double work for no reason. Yes, there may be about 70% of candidates who apply that might not make the requirement but to not use your own database is a huge mistake. On top of that, please make sure your recruiters know how to treat candidates with respect. Had she not jump down my throat she would have learned that I do know how to use boolean searches ;it's not rocket science.
