Ensure you understand stakeholder management and articulate how the threat harm and risk of each piece of work determines which priority comes first. Don’t be afraid to delegate other tasks. Communication is imperative - you can’t do everything for everyone so ensure whoever you are prioritising last is updated. Also ensure your supervisor is clear about your workloads. Ask for help. Go the extra mile, this is the police so public service is so important, offer to stay later than your hours if you can.
