I use one or a combination of three (3) different styles depending on the situation and people involved that I need to win over in order to achieve an objective. I call them the 3 C's: 1. Convincing (logical appeal) - present my ideas and demonstrate benefits with facts and data 2. Connecting (emotional appeal) - illustrate how achieving my goal will help others reach their goals. 3. Collaborating (cooperative appeal) - solicit other people's ideas and work together to accomplish a common goal.
