Avantages
eQHealth is slowly but steadily transforming its IT shop into one of the best IT environments to work in in Baton Rouge. Management continues to work to build a strong corp of hardworking, experienced, knowledgeable, friendly employees while carefully pruning away persistently negative, unproductive, and uncommitted influences in order to improve both the work environment and the work products. The people, as a whole, who work in IT are an engaging, hardworking, committed, and FUN group of people. The camaraderie and feeling of "family" grows with every passing day. The processes continue to mature and are worlds beyond what they were just 2 short years ago. This group is really on the right path.
Inconvénients
It's not Google. This is Healthcare IT in south Louisiana - it's still a pretty conservative approach as far as software development shops are concerned. There is still room for improvement in the shop's maturity.
