Avantages
The kids are honestly the only reason I stayed for as long as I did. The turnover rate is so high, they are constantly getting new after school caregivers even though it is not their fault.
Inconvénients
Poor organization- it took almost 4 months for me to get access to adp to clock my hours. Before that I had to write them down and send photos to my supervisor. I also never got direct deposit despite repeatedly giving my information. I had to pay for my own fingerprinting and it took 4 months of me sending constant emails for me to get reimbursed. When it comes to actual programming, we are not given supplies to be able to do what we need to do. I was told I could buy some of my own supplies and get “reimbursed”. Sites are very understaffed to the point where the site director has to step in and take a group. I strongly believe they should stop this program until they can get everything together. The parents pay way too much to receive the quality of programming the kids get.
