Avantages
Working with very bright and agile colleagues from sales and marketing, and product development department - R&D. Cool technologies and projects. Nice travels to trade events and visiting customers.
Inconvénients
Senior management is really *bad* - no vision, no strategy. Senior management is old-school sales driven people - most of them have no idea about the products company is developing. HR is more or less non-existing. A lot of very bright, talented and extremely agile people left the company during 2015-2019, especially from product department and marketing, so not really sure if future is that bright for Zenitel. There were constant cost cuts (even layoffs), acquisitions of small companies, and some financial acrobatics to make earnings keep up with plans, while the revenue was flat or going down. Many (former) employees where trying to push some new ideas about products, but again, senior management is purely sales driven and money counters ... There was also a lot of micro-management inside some departments, especially in Product development and R&D.
