The company culture is genuinely people first. It’s a startup, which means we’re still building the plane while flying it. That can come with some disorganization, shifting priorities, and the kind of growing pains that are pretty standard in early-stage companies. But leadership is transparent, and there’s a clear commitment to improvement.

Remote first? Other than that, didn’t work there long enough to see the pros other than two months of severance (longer than I had worked there lol).

Sales were declining for 6 quarters in a row when I joined (graph was hilarious)! Red flag #1. I was hired and laid off within the first month. I was directly hired by people who are financially savvy and make strategic decisions for the company. Another red flag was that my manager was on vacation when this decision was made (boss made the call) and looked extremely upset when he had to break the news. Very awkward disorganized!
