Avantages

There is a close knit environment that kindles professional friendships and help is always available if you need it. Management is pretty relaxed and will work with you to achieve your professional goals. I had to take medical leave and they worked with me so I had plenty of time to go to PT. Because it's a startup, there is a lot of room for growth and creativity. Tons of perks like flexible vacation days, casual dress code, fully stocked fridge with a massive snack buffet, catered lunches, spontaneous happy hours, bi-monthly company outings, stock options and plenty of props and recognition for a job well done. The CEO is heavily involved with the company and has somewhat of an open door policy when he is in the office. The people I work with are pretty fantastic. I spend the majority of my waking hours here and don't dread going into the office, so thats a huge pro for me.

Inconvénients

The office is kind of small, so you're really going to get to know your neighbors.

Avantages

A fast-paced company where you can wear a lot of hats and learn a lot of different skill sets. If you work hard, you are recognized by upper management, and they are profuse with their appreciation. Flexible time off and great health, dental and vision benefits. Exciting time to be with the company with the release of a new product.

Inconvénients

It’s not for everyone—it takes a lot of hard work to get a new product off the ground, so you may be asked to take on more tasks than usual. But it is fulfilling to see big companies buying the product.

Avantages

I worked with some amazing people and the team in my department was great. Remote work and solid benefits were nice.

Inconvénients

Upper management is full of nepotism and narcissism that doesn't actually know how to run a company. Constantly shifting priorities on a whim with no clear end goal or vision has resulted in burning all of the investment money, with no sales pipeline to show for it, and no VC firms willing to further invest in the company.
