      Avantages

      Its challenging and every day is something new. Exciting time in the healthcare insurance field right now with the implementation of the affordable health care act. You get to work with teams from all across the US as well as India and Phillipines.

      Inconvénients

      very unorganized and many processes dont work as they are new. No developed training curriculum, so it is a constant barage of new documents and proceedures that you are left to decipher and deliver effective training on. You don't have access to the teams that develop the documentation before you are required to deliver training to teams both here in the US and internationally. A lot of long term travel means time away from home and family.

      Avantages

      There is a very diverse culture and open minded atmosphere.

      Inconvénients

      Because of adherence to Federal guidelines changes can come quickly and requires flexibility.

      Avantages

      Wellpoint has good benefit; cheap medical and dental insurance. Company offers 5 weeks of PTO plus 12 extra flex days if you want to work extra half hour day). Very casual environment, imagine wearing flip flaps and shorts every day. There is a gym and swimming pool on premises. Minutes away from the beach.

      Inconvénients

      Complete lack of training, management expects you to learn on its own. Low salaries but very high pay cuts and no increases for 3 years. Management sucks. Several bad decision and company filed bankruptcy. I am lucky I found another job. Stay away.
