As a developer, you actually see the impact of your work—our products help real people navigate their healthcare journeys, not just sell ads or clicks. The engineering challenges are interesting and diverse: we’re building scalable systems that touch data, content, personalization, and AI. The leadership team genuinely invests in technology and process improvement. Over the past year, there’s been a big push toward modernizing the stack, improving developer experience, and breaking down silos between product, data science, and engineering. You can feel the momentum building—sprints are better organized, the roadmap is clearer, and collaboration across teams has improved dramatically. There’s also a strong sense of mission and culture. People are smart, kind, and pragmatic. Leadership is approachable and transparent (especially the CEO—rare in a company this size). It’s a nice balance between startup energy and enterprise stability.

Because the company has made some smart acquisitions, there are still some legacy systems and duplicate processes being untangled. But there’s a clear plan to consolidate and modernize, and engineers have a voice in how that happens.
