Avantages

Good work-life balance Healthy and cheerful work environment Projects are interesting Good producing and project management

Inconvénients

Weak employee retention: it's hard to re-negotiate compensation unless you get offers from rival companies Day-to-day tasks for designers and programmers are not very stimulating: the tech is a mess, it's hard and costly to innovate on existing tech With WFH becoming the norm, compensation is not on par with Europe's industry standards. Foreign studios offer better packages Projects are often rushed / project budgets are heightened last minute before game is post-poned, so it's hard to do clear projections on the game's scope and features Story & Narrative pipelines for story-driven games are poorly handled (mocap, dubbing...) Turn-over is a real issues for 3 main reasons: lack of room for indivual creativity, lack of career opportunities, underwhelming pay

Avantages

Remote work, free games. Good co-workers.

Inconvénients

Horrendous pay, expectations of work absolutely unreasonable. Turnover rate pretty high, and instead of hiring new employees, just had the remaining team take over the work that required like 10+ employees. Then after requiring 200% productivity to make up for the lack of a team, complained about teams.
