There is a lack of investment in employee retention strategies, such as professional development opportunities or addressing employee concerns and feedback. As a result, talented individuals were often leaving the company, leading to a loss of valuable skills and knowledge. The salary offered is not competitive compared to industry standards or the cost of living in the area.
