Great students (not always well prepared, but eager, engaged) Some great colleagues Most people who work here genuinely care about students & education This could be a great school if we had better administration
Inconvénients
Central admin is out of touch, clueless Wastes huge $$ on useless admin initiatives Not willing to invest in core skills like student writing Endless bureaucracy + understaffing + constant changes = crazy workload for faculty Our undergrad student : academic advisor ratio was 300:1; now it's 550:1 Chancellor forces out top personnel (ed Med Dean), hires lackeys
