Avantages
My current department is great, supportive staff and supervisors, amazing students, and opportunities for growth within the department.
Inconvénients
Upper administration often places rules/policies that bogs down operations or is counterintuitive to productivity/efficacy or simply out of touch with what works and what doesn't on the ground level. Also, pay is not great if you consider the amount of hours put in (typically 60hr/week) and the amount the University expects you to accomplish for that pay.
