      Avantages

      Very good compensation and benefits for this region of the country. Interesting and challenging work.

      Inconvénients

      Management team. Liberty Media ownership. Liberty Media operates as an investment banker, treating TruePosition as an annuity from its maintenance contracts with AT&T and T-Mobile. There's little understanding of the technology and how to leverage it in new markets, as demonstrated by allowing itself to invest and lose tens of millions in a failed attempt to go from a niche safety and security 911 location firm to a consumer electronics firm. And entrusting this failure to executives with no background in that field.

      Avantages

      Formerly outstanding (five stars), however I would not advise joining at the moment. The R&D, QA, and Systems teams were top notch, holding most of the patents in the industry. Anyone with TP in their pedigree deserves serious consideration for joining your organization. Two stars for potential.

      Inconvénients

      Management failed to execute on a new business model; instead clinging to an unstainable one. After consecutive years of RIFs, only a nepotistic old boy club remains, serving to collect lawsuit payments and serve a tax purpose for parent holding corp. The former CFO, not a location technologist, is currently running the place.
