Avantages

I have been with this company for about 5 years now. I came in with little to no sales background. The sales training I received here was awesome. Its something you are actively involved in on a day by day basis and never stops. There are very few companies out there that give you this type of sales exposure. I have learned how to adapt and adjust my pitch for a variety of different clientele and also how to maintain relationships which result in further sales. Along with that I was surrounded by all different markets, Stocks, Options, Futures, Currencies every single day. I am extremely competent on all these markets and trade many of them myself. Its a fun environment, even though you must work hard its a good group and don't feel like I am "going into work" every morning.

Inconvénients

If you are lazy or aren't willing to work hard/put in extra effort sometimes this job is not for you. We occasionally will come in one Saturday a month for 2-4 hours to close some clients we cannot reach during the week.

Avantages

The product is strong, and they are open to hiring people with no financial background. Compensation is there if you are a good closer.

Inconvénients

Termination policy is inconsistent, especially if your new. Having a bad month at the wrong time can cost you your job, and you might receive little to no warning, verbal or written, to indicate your standing. When asked directly, management can be evasive rather than giving a direct answer. Performance reviews are almost non existent, though this may depend on the manager you are working with. Additionally, the departments (options, futures, stocks) are not equally lucrative, as can be seen by comparing the number of sales reps in each. The larger departments (options and futures) have a higher demand, with a larger number of leads specific for there product existing in the data base. Stocks often requires an additional step in the sales process, convincing a customer that they should change there desired method of trading, but if the customer does not have between $15-$20k to trade with, there is no point in the first place.
