And a misrepresentation of the job title, I was hired as a visual sales associate and was very good at both selling and register, however, I had to part ways with this company because they were much more concerned with my experience during Truck Days. Truck Days are labor intensive days where you are often squatting, going up and down ladders and opening boxes with box cutters to place and arrange product on the shelves. I got the complaint that I didn't "sweat enough," and if I wasn't sweating by the time I was done, I wasn't doing it right. I felt like management got tunnel vision with me and couldn't see my other positive attributes.
