Avantages
Absolutely NONE. You MIGHT get a 10% employee discount, IF and ONLY if you manage to get the BS "Red Card" working (I never did). The pay is alright, more than most other places in my awful little city, BUT - Target will cut your hours without a notice (I went from 36/week to 12) so the pay rate doesn't even matter because you'll be struggling to feed yourself either way!
Inconvénients
1. Cutting hours. I went from 36 a week to 12 and am not allowed to pick up shifts. I almost ended up on the streets because of this. 2. The corporate losers who have never worked a hard day in their life will come into your store, whine about everything that's wrong, and then disrespect your managers (who are trying their best) right in front of your face. They're paid 3x what I'm being paid to do this, too. 3. Target WILL NOT HIRE ANYBODY, yet are INCREASING THE WORKLOAD. Our beauty team went from 3 members a day to 1. And guess what happened? 7 UBOATS OF UNPUSHED PRODUCT every single day, to the point we usually cannot start unloading the truck on time. 4. Managers will bend over backwards to not fire employees who are bullies. 5. The store is FILTHY. Target won't PURCHASE NEW ZEBRAS despite OVER HALF OF OURS BEING BROKEN! Our RFID guns are sparse, but god forbid we invest in our store equipment.
