Some of the nicest people I've ever worked with. Hands down. People take a lot of pride in the product and how much the customers love it.
Inconvénients
Tableau is the poster child for what happens when nobody ever tells the developers "no". We have like five ticketing systems, five project management systems, four collaboration tools... Half the time, it is impossible to figure out where you even need to go to get something done. And all of that confusion has been compounded by getting acquired by Salesforce. Tableau has more technical debt than I've ever seen in 26+ years in the industry. I've been here almost a year and have done virtually no engineering work. Just produced a long list of documentation laying out the strategy to fix the technical debt in my purview and I'm not a day closer to getting anything done.
