Avantages
Clean and comfortable office space.
Inconvénients
I was promised a specific salary upon hire, along with a $10k increase once I became a permanent employee. That increase never occurred. Despite receiving multiple raises over time, my take-home pay was effectively lower when I left than when I started due to rising healthcare costs and the fact that increases were largely limited to cost-of-living adjustments.
This role is not ideal for those seeking meaningful professional development. Employees are often utilized strictly for immediate operational needs, and advancement appears to depend more on personal relationships and office dynamics than on performance, experience, or work ethic. If you are not closely aligned with leadership, growth opportunities are extremely limited.
Leadership is largely disengaged from employee concerns and offers minimal practical support or solutions. There is noticeable favoritism across departments, with some employees receiving flexible or reduced schedules, while others—particularly those considered essential—are denied flexibility even for valid reasons such as pursuing education.
Benefits are minimal, including limited sick time and holidays. Many departments operate under constant time pressure with frequent deadlines, creating a high-stress environment that is not reflected in compensation.
Management culture is also concerning. There is a significant amount of internal gossip, while frontline employees carry the majority of the workload with little recognition. Occasional incentives or rewards are presented as special privileges rather than acknowledgments of consistent effort, which can feel dismissive rather than motivating.
I experienced ongoing inappropriate workplace behavior from a coworker that was not addressed in a timely manner. Action was only taken after the behavior directly affected management, which raised concerns about how employee issues are prioritized and handled.
Overall, employees are not treated as partners in the organization but as easily replaceable resources. Raises, flexibility, and advancement opportunities appear inconsistent and influenced by personal preference rather than objective performance. I would not recommend this workplace to individuals seeking fair compensation, transparency, or a supportive and accountable leadership structure.
