Training especially for the first year needs to be more in depth. This is not a job for someone right out of college. You’ll be required to make a list of 200 closest people you know and basically have to call all of them, read from the “script” and try to get them to take an appointment with you and then you try to pitch life insurance or investments if you’re already licensed. And if you’re not able to get referrals from your original appointments, you’re not gonna be in this job long because you go through that first list of 200 people in about a week.
