Avantages
Lots of time off options that the system very seldom approves; Coworkers can be pleasant when you do go in office; free gym onsite in irving; free canned soft drinks; Can work remote and only go to office 1week of the month, after 4month in-office training. Guest speakers visiting office often, even if interrupting critical training lessons. Mgr’s available to answer questions during training in office, since printing study materials and/or emailing coursework to yourself is prohibited. Easy to make new friends in the office bcuz new hire waves happen every 60days and force your training class to relocate classrooms often, and without email notice.
Inconvénients
Nearly 4 month training process that was scattered, unorganized and conducted with no handbook, no outline or syllabus. Required to come to office for over 3months of training that consists 90% of sitting on a Zoom call with a trainer who isnt onsite. You wont feel even 50% prepared for the job even after such a long training. Half to type notes at lightning speed in training bcuz you arent allowed to access SF study materials putside of work hours and no printing in office or emailing yourself study materials either. Upon hiring, training was initially presented as 1week per month in office, remainder of month at home but was a lie; had to train in office 25-28 days of the month and only 24hr notice of working from home days. Job entails the work of a general contractor, weather analysis expert, inbound call rep, interior design asst, jurisdictional ordinance inspector, accounts payable specialist—all for only 25/hr. Claims adjusters overloaded with hundreds of claims that either go delayed, mishandled or constantly reassigned due to adjusters being too busy with other claims. Encouraged to low-ball policyholders while they suffer through weather disasters and go without repairs/reimbursement for lost food and/or plumbing access.
