Avantages
Working at Starbucks has been really helpful for me, especially as a student. The schedule is pretty flexible most of the time, so I can balance school and work. I’ve also learned a lot of useful skills, like how to deal with different types of customers, work under pressure, and communicate better with a team. The environment can be fun when you have good coworkers, and the free drinks during shifts and discounts are definitely a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a good place to build experience, especially if you’re starting out.
Inconvénients
At the same time, the job can be really stressful, especially during rushes. It gets super busy, and you’re expected to move fast while still being friendly, which can be exhausting. Dealing with rude or impatient customers can also take a toll after a while. Sometimes the schedule can be a bit unpredictable too, like getting early morning or late shifts, which can be hard to manage with school or other responsibilities. Even though it’s a good job for experience, it can get draining if you don’t have enough time to rest or if it’s consistently busy.
