Inconvénients
Typical higher ed sales job that focuses on sales, it's about the quantity not quality. The lenders we partner with are sketchy. High pressure, high call volume and talk time. Admissions is always stressed about how they are going to hit their target with all the bogus leads. No work/life balance. No room for growth. Enrollments are difficult and growth seems to be stagnant. Some of the more senior/older admissions crew are being sneaky and stealing leads from newer advisors. Apparently, management harassed and micromanaged one admissions advisor to the point that they made her sick and she resigned. HR must have caught wind of it because management/leadership is now trying to "change" the culture with a handful of overly friendly and fake Kumbaya meetings. Yes, we see right through it.
