Avantages
The leadership team demonstrates integrity and leads by example. I'm proud to work at Slack and think that Stewart, Ali, Robby, and others have blown it own of the water in taking care of their workforce during COVID times. It's a human-first organization that isn't afraid to show up authentically and take care of each other. The work is engaging and we're navigating our growth well. Other things that are great: The benefits package is amazing, and compensation is competitive. Leadership encourages employees to take vacation to avoid burnout, and recruiting is very selective about hiring people that care about having lives outside of work. It makes for an interesting and well-rounded peer group.
Inconvénients
If I had to think of something, there's an opportunity to improve clarity around career growth and promotions - but that will come as we mature as an organization.
